Happy Navaratri

I leave behind my lifeImage result for navaratri images
My hopes and desires
Fears and anxieties
Sweet and sour memories
And walk through the door
Of light

With wings of love
I fly
To Thee
Beautiful new beginnings
Forever and then some more

The new moon tonight is called Mahalaya — Maha means great and laya dissolution. It is a grand dissolution.

Happy Mahalaya to you all, sweet readers and a beautiful Navaratri celebration.

As you may know, Nava means nine and ratri is night. So after dissolving everything, we make a new beginning with non-stop celebrations for nine days and nights. Yippee! πŸ™‚

Celebrating Mother Divine. All over India, different traditions and customs awaken the divine feminine within us, as we seek blessings for our families and this universe and offer prayers of gratitude and love.

I pray for blessings of sweet beloved Mother Divine upon all of us and our beautiful planet – now and always. Thank you for reading.

Happy Navaratri! πŸ™‚ See you in ten days.

Sri Krishna Sharanam Mama

  1. 3 days of 3 divine trinities… Mother Saraswathi…Mother Lakshmi and Mother Durga… the corresponding energy of Lord Brahma…Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva…May all of them bless us with all the divinities…

  2. …I am speechless…such beautiful traditions, so beautifully expressed. I keep reading and reading, hoping to fully absorb the radiance, to hold it permanently in my heart and understanding. How magical and mystical to welcome dissolution, to put away one’s own sense of life and separateness, to walk into the darkness, trusting the wings of love, toward the light…the light of Maternal Wisdom and Love, the growing Light…and nine days like the nine months we spend growing into fullness of physical strength to meet our earthly journey…only to seek dissolution of what we perceive…oh the mystery and wonder and Love Divine…thank you, thank you, beloved friend for opening my heart to your traditions and all they unfold. Blessings and love and shalom…I will miss you during your absense, but rejoice with you!! Love and delight, beautiful, Krishnapriya!
